The Studios at Chetwyn Farms
Step beyond the ordinary and into a world of creative-artistry in the STUDIOS at Chetwyn Farms.
We offer a curated series of workshops in our converted barn studio space - where the natural light from floor to ceiling windows provides the perfect backdrop to creating, while watching the alpaca & horses in the nearby pastures.
Workshops at Chetwyn Farms
Each of our workshops are lead by instructors with years of creative & teaching experience! Our workshops are intentionally small and intimate (no more than 10 people) to offer you hands-on and one-on-one time to delve into the workshop theme. This is an invitation to re-imagine the creative process through the lens of skilled instructors & using your own creativity!

NEW Pop-Up in the SHED Studio
POP-Up & SHOW: County Workhouse - Hand-dyed Accessories Sunday July 6 - Monday July 31 2025
We are thrilled to welcome County Workhouse to the SHED-Studio July 6 to July 21. Nikki Bowers and Dawn Carlisle are County Workhouse. Partners in life and business, they have shared their talent, creativity and hard work for over 25 years.
Dawn is a graduate in both Graphic Arts and Museum Technology and has enjoyed a long career in exhibit production and art handling in museums and galleries across Canada and the United States. Nikki is a skilled crafts person working with wood, metal and acrylic to produce cabinetry and structure in both private residences and cultural institutions.
Over the years they have collaborated with many talented designers and production teams to help develop award winning exhibits. In 2015, they moved to Prince Edward County, where they built a home and workshop, allowing space to take on projects big and small while enjoying the serenity of rural life.
In this mini exhibition and pop-up hand-made & hand-dying are combined to create one-of-a-kind accessories with a nod to vintage finds & nostalgic fondness.
The SHED Studio
The SHED STUDIO – Our smaller studio space on the farm within the SHED shop offers seasonal small-scale exhibitions, Open-Studios by Artists-in- Residence, Pop-Ups and summer workshops in a more casual and relaxed setting. Watch artists practice their craft or enjoy one-of-a-kind visual displays & exhibitions or - delight in shopping for unique hand-made items in artist-created pop-up shops. You never know what will be showing in the SHED Studio!
Meet here before beginning one of our summer “mini-workshops” in painting, photography & sketching and be introduced to life on the farm from an artists point-of-view before heading out to the pastures and fields for hands-on instruction and creative exploration. The SHED studio is open during regular SHED hours.
