The Studios at Chetwyn Farms

Step beyond the ordinary and into a world of creative-artistry in the STUDIOS at Chetwyn Farms.

We offer a curated series of workshops in our converted barn studio space -  where the natural light from floor to ceiling windows provides the perfect backdrop to creating, while watching the alpaca & horses in the nearby pastures.

Workshops at Chetwyn Farms

Each of our workshops are lead by instructors with years of creative & teaching experience!  Our workshops are intentionally small and intimate (no more than 10 people) to offer you hands-on and one-on-one time to delve into the workshop theme.  This is an invitation to re-imagine the creative process through the lens of skilled instructors & using your own creativity!

NEW Pop-Up in the SHED Studio

POP-UP & SHOW: Tiny Treasures - from six Canadian Fibre Artists

SHED – STUDIOS | November 7 – December 19, 2025 | Prince Edward County

The winter season in the SHED Studio at Chetwyn Farms brings a special sparkle this year with  “TINY TREASURES” Holiday Pop-Up. Running from Friday, November 7 to Sunday, December 19, 2025, this festive event transforms the farm’s unique studio and retail shop into a wonderland of small-scale, hand-made textile art, celebrating the holidays through the artistry and imagination of talented makers.

Within the inviting SHED shop on the historic farm, the “TINY TREASURES” show features a curated selection of ornaments, toys, kits, and more—each lovingly crafted by artists working in various textile mediums. The event is designed as both an exhibition and a retail pop-up, where visitors can admire, collect, and gift one-of-a-kind pieces that embody the magic and warmth of the holiday season.

Showcasing Textile Artists

Participating artists share the thoughtfully prepared studio space, each contributing a personal collection that fits the “Tiny Treasures” theme. Whether it’s an intricate felted ornament, a handwoven miniature stocking, or a charming holiday-themed kit, every artist’s work is selected to highlight the creativity and diversity of contemporary textile art.

The SHED Studio

The SHED STUDIO – Our smaller studio space on the farm within the SHED shop offers seasonal small-scale exhibitions, Open-Studios by Artists-in- Residence, Pop-Ups and summer workshops in a more casual and relaxed setting.  Watch artists practice their craft or enjoy one-of-a-kind visual displays & exhibitions or - delight in shopping for unique hand-made items in artist-created pop-up shops.  You never know what will be showing in the SHED Studio!

Meet here before beginning one of our summer “mini-workshops” in painting, photography & sketching and be introduced to life on the farm from an artists point-of-view before heading out to the pastures and fields for hands-on instruction and creative exploration.  The SHED studio is open during regular SHED hours.
