We celebrate our fourth year in business in 2017. From the ground-up we’re growing - based on the success of the last couple of years!  Thank-you to everyone who has visited and supported us in our "alpaca-journey"!
 

When we closed the screen-door on the SHED last year we knew some things had to change in 2017. We wanted visitors at our farm to enjoy an alpaca experience unlike any other and - for us that meant a new and improved alpaca viewing area! It sounds simple, but in order to create a better viewing experience meant we also had to think about parking and the entrance to our little SHED shop.
 

Increasingly car traffic was becoming a problem on the farm. We are grateful for the increased number of visitors, but it meant that the single-lane drive from Closson Road to the barn was becoming congested and raised concerns for safety of both visitors and the barn kitties, farm dog and other animals meandering around the property.


So in order to solve both problems we have created a new entrance/drive to the SHED with an expanded parking area AND – a viewing area that lets visitors enjoy the alpaca in a safe and shaded environment, with expansive views of the paddocks and the old bank barn.


Horses continue to move from pasture to pasture, and the new entrance to the shop provides a better shopping experience, expanding our offerings while still allowing visitors a chance to get-up-close and personal with alpaca when they come inside for shelter from spring rainfall or hot summer sun.
