They're Great, but pricey.

I bought these for my husband at The SHED in Nov '22. He likes them almost as much as The Wellington work socks. Comfy for winter snow clearing, they don't fall down in his boots like other similar but more cheaply made socks. He's only worn them a few times--so far, so good--so I can't comment on their durability. I will say that, in hindsight, $48 is a lot to pay for a pair of socks and I really hope they will last as long as the last thick alpacas I bought in Newfoundland (which are 6+ years now with no sign of worn heels or toes). Thank you, SHED.
