Farm Guide - General & Tours
- Description
This handy farm-guide makes it easy for you to enjoy time on our farm. We have found over the years that visitors like to learn more about our herd. In this guide you will find information about alpaca characteristics, origins and fun facts about our herd.
Available as a downloadable file or to view on your tablet or mobile phone - each of our alpaca are listed by name with identifying marks or features, quirky behaviours, colour marking etc., so you can spot the alpaca that makes an impression on you! We love sharing our passion for alpaca, and as an operating fibre farm, we do everything to preserve and protect the fleece produced by our herd.
Alpacas generally do not like to be haltered and while they are herd animals and like the company of other alpaca - they don’t much care for human interaction – for that reason we do not allow petting or feeding of our alpaca.
By purchasing this Farm-Guide you help us maintain our farm as a free attraction in Prince Edward County and gives you added information to make your visit more memorable. Thank-you for supporting our farm!
