Alpaca Yarn - “SAGE” 100% Alpaca Worsted Weight

This warm butterscotch fawn colour is from SAGE - one of our oldest dams.  A calm,  mature and serious alpaca with warm eyes and heart!  Her fleece is beautifully soft, in spite of her advancing years and in our worsted weight makes great yarn for many projects.

100% alpaca is very warm and depending on the pattern and weight of yarn, it can be heavy. Light weight garments, texture knitting, crochet and weaving patterns are very well suited to our 100% alpaca yarns. Any knitting or crochet pattern can be adapted to alpaca yarn.

These are very soft yarns that can be comfortably worn next to the skin and are an excellent choice of yarn for hats, scarves and sweaters.
