This deep & rich black colour worsted yarn comes from one of our youngest alpaca  named "CRUELLA" one of 2 cria born to our grand champion Zeus born on the farm! - named for her appearance not her temperament - she has  dense fleece that appears brown until shorn - then the richest black undercoat.  Incredible tone and a soft hand-feel

100% alpaca is very warm and depending on the pattern and weight of yarn, it can be heavy. Light weight garments, texture knitting, crochet and weaving patterns are very well suited to our 100% alpaca yarns. Any knitting or crochet pattern can be adapted to alpaca yarn.

These are very soft yarns that can be comfortably worn next to the skin and are an excellent choice of yarn for hats, scarves and sweaters.
