Hand knit from a blend of 100% baby alpaca and pima cotton. This hat has been inspired by the magic of the Andean Sun bear, the only bear native to South America. The sun bear lives in the cloud forests of the Andes, and ranges as far as the high-altitude grasslands across the Andes. The rare and elusive bear, or uku, occupies a special place in Andean mythology, and can be seen represented in traditional stories and dancing across the Cusco region.
